ENTRY GUIDELINES
The Form
– The form is now closed. A big thank you to everyone who entered.
Some Notes About Entering
– Selected work will be on display in three exhibition spaces; Main gallery, secondary and upstairs gallery spaces. Last year we had 365 artists enter and showed work by 135 Artists.
– More modestly sized pieces (up to 1m x 1m) will have a higher chance of getting in than very large works (The size limit is 1.5m). Size : Please measure the work with the frame if framed. By entering you give us permission to use any uploaded image for publicity. If you plan on only getting the work framed if it is accepted please put a note of that in the image details section with the style of frame – white, black, oak etc.
Image Upload
– Please upload good-quality pics of your work. Please upload 2 images for each piece entered = 1 of the piece itself and 1 in its frame (or a detail shot or in-situ if it isn’t framed). For 3D work please just upload 2 pics of the piece from different angles, if it comes with a plinth please include it in 1 of the pics. There is a limit of 2mb for each image. Please make sure the image is at least 1200 pixels wide. Finally, It would also be helpful if the file names of the images included artist name.

Image Details
– Please order as follows – Medium (i.e- oil on canvas), Size (framed size if framed), *edition number – for prints otherwise ignore, Price (all work must be for sale and commission will be taken from the price you list if sold).
Prizes
– A Cash Prize of £250 for the Winner chosen by Gallery Manager Luke Tarpey.
– We will invite multiple artists to take part in next year’s exhibition programme from the Open exhibitants. A list of those selected will be published alongside the Open Exhibiting Artists. There is no limit in this (last year I picked 29 artists). This is primarily an open for any artists who want to be involved with and support the gallery.
Eligibility
– Entries are available to all artists in the UK.
Judging
– Will be done by Gallery Manager Luke Tarpey. I won’t be able to give feedback on unsuccessful entries.
Entry Fee and Commission
– Each artist may submit up to three pieces. The fee is £15 for 1 piece, £20 for 2 pieces and £25 for 3 pieces. The fee is non refundable. All sales will be subject to a reduced commission of 45% (usual gallery rate is 50%) taken from the price you list.
Work Delivery
– If selected the work can be delivered in person (preferred) or sent by post. The work must be clearly labelled with Name, Title, Medium, Size and Price (including Gallery Commission), protected and ready to hang (String – preferred, mirror plates or alternative). For all work sent by post please make sure it’s very well protected with a cardboard box and bubble wrap at the very least and easily re-packable.
Work Collection
– All unsold work must be collected or courier arranged from 13th – 16th August 2026.
Insurance
– We will insure your work against loss or damage while it is on site. Work in transit to and from the gallery must be insured separately by the artist.
