It is my intention that every work creates some kind of connections or relationships with the viewer.
My works focus on articulating ambiguous boundaries between dream and reality in the modern world. Although choosing motifs that people can easily relate to from everyday life, leaving some 'margin' by creating dream-like nature, the works become more inviting for the viewer. Engaging with my works with their own perception, the viewer experiences a sense of deja vu.
Utilising limited narrative in the paintings - by giving only a vague clue of time and place - will also encourage the viewer to communicate with the works. It allows the viewer to create their own stories.
