Krystina Naylor, Christopher Brooke
These two extremely talented young artists have been selected for the launch of Tarpey Gallery's Annual 'Platform' exhibition which looks to promote outstanding recent graduates from the Midlands region.
Krystina Naylor graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2011 and was chosen for Saatchi New Sensations 4 months later. Her work and practice are informed by surface deception, mimicry and camouflage, trompe l’oeil and idyllic viewpoints / dimensions and fragmenting figurative objects.
Christopher Brooke is currently studying for his MA in Fine Art at Wimbledon College of Art. The body of work he is exhibiting suggests a uniform position and placement of objects. The Objects are based on measurement and positioning, and are positioned / fused together to form a whole or unity.
UFN will be presenting their most recent publication during the launch, and copies will be available to purchase during the exhibition.
